Well, I've finally arrived in life - I feature on the front cover of this week's "Dandy" (for anyone reading this from abroad, its a kid's comic which I used to buy many, many years ago). Desperate Dan is cleaning empty cow pie dishes in a trunk jet of water from an elephant wearing a blanket which bears the legend "Mike Hurley's Radio Circus". The artist, Ken Harrison, draws the column listening to my Saturday show on BBC Radio York, and decided to give me a discreet plug. Mike
